What: CCSL is hosting “LEAGUE CUP 2012”. The League Cup is a competitive tournament and each team will play a single elimination round on Saturday. League Cup is only for CCSL registered teams. No loan players are allowed. Scores and standings will be kept in all age divisions.

When: November 10 and 11, 2012 for U9 – U11, November 17 and 18, 2012 for U12 – U18. All games will be played at the standard CCSL playing fields.

Who: All teams that participated in the CCSL seasonal year are eligible to compete. Participation is voluntary,a team may choose not to participate. Players must play on the same team they played with during the CCSL season. Only players who have played in at least five league games are eligible to play in the League Cup (unless player missed league games due to injury).

How: Teams will be required to register on-line for the tournament no later than October 27th. NO COST TO THE TEAM. On-line tournament registration is found on the CCSL web site home page. On-line registration will be accepted until mid-night of October 27th. The Tournament Director reserves the right to accept a late registering team if including the team simplifies the tournament scheduling. On-line registration is the ONLY method used to register for this tournament

Fee: The Referee Fee, per team, will be the same as the regular season and paid by the teams on the field.

Mandatory Check-in: None.

Tournament Format: Single elimination, winning teams advance to next round. If more than 4 teams are in a bracket, a second single elimination round will be played either on Saturday or Sunday, depending on field availability. Championship games will be played on Sunday for all brackets.

For U12 divisions, the first and second place teams in each U12 bracket will be playing in the Girls U13 and Boys U13 brackets respectfully.The third place finisher in each of the U12 brackets will be playing in the U11 brackets.

Special Note: A coach, parent, or spectator that is ejected during a game shall be banned from all CCSL venues for the remainder of the “League Cup”.
